BJP Tuesday termed its win in Arunachal Pradesh by-poll as the victory of the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) of which it is an ally. Congratulating Dasanglu Pul for her victory in the Hayuliang seat, BJP state unit president Tapir Gao said, “This victory is a tribute to former chief minister Kalikho Pul as much as to the thousands of BJP workers who have made it possible.”
The win was a stamp of approval for the NEDA government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, he appreciated the team effort of the cabinet members and the parliamentary secretaries.
“The win would not have been possible without the wholehearted support and cooperation of the alliance partner, People’s Party of Arunachal (PPA) Chairman, Kameng Ringu and President Kahfa Bengia,” Gao said.
Stating that it was a sign of good days to come, he said “Lotus will bloom more and more. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership is not only accepted by the tribals but is being hailed as the golden period of the tribals of the frontier state.”
