Uttar Pradesh: Local BSP leader expelled from party

He had contested the 2012 Assembly polls from Kairana and was also declared the party's candidate from Budhana constituency for the 2017 Assembly elections.

Local BSP leader Kunwar Hasan has been expelled from the party for anti-party activities in Shamli district. According to BSP district president Arvind Gautam, Kunwar was expelled on the directions of party high command as he was he was allegedly found to be involved in anti-party activities.

He had contested the 2012 Assembly polls from Kairana and was also declared the party’s candidate from Budhana constituency for the 2017 Assembly elections.

However, Hasan denied the allegations and claimed that he expelled when he refused to provide party funds.
