A team of doctors have been monitoring her health since November 7. The 64-year-old BJP leader, who has been suffering from diabetes for almost 20 years, underwent certain endocrinological tests.
In April, Swaraj was admitted to AIIMS after she complained of chest congestion. She was discharged after being treated for fever and pneumonia symptoms. In her two years as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Swaraj has been lauded for her outreach on Twitter by helping those in distress, irrespective of their geographical location. Her recent speech at the United Nations General Assembly, where she blamed Pakistan for fanning the unrest in Kashmir and funding terrorism in India, received plaudits.
