BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Subramanian Swamy on Monday joined a BJP protest outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house in the national capital.

BJP MP Maheish Girri, along with other party members, is holding a protest outside the CM’s house demanding his resignation for alleging his involvement in the murder of an NDMC official.

The Chief Minister refused to meet the protesters, tweeting this morning: “He shud be arrested n interrogated by Modi police in MM Khan murder case. Modi police shielding him.”

Kejriwal, in a letter written to Lt Governor Najeeb Jung on June 15, had alleged that Maheish Girri and another BJP leader’s name was coming up in the murder probe of NDMC employee MM Khan.

Reacting to this allegation, Girri had challenged Kejriwal to prove his allegation and join him for an open debate at Constitutional Club in Delhi on Sunday.

The Delhi CM did not respond to this challenge and also did not turn up for the debate. Following which, Girri sat on a hunger strike outside his residence on Sunday evening.
