“We have arrested six people. The investigation so far reveals that the murder was the fallout of criminal rivalry”, SP (Hoogly), Praveen Tripathy told The Indian Express. According to sources, the arrested accused include Dhania Mahanti (25), Adhir Bag alias Kalu Bag (38), Asim Sarkar (38), Mohammed Najrul Uddin (30), Sheikh Hasibul alias Googol (29) and Akash Mohali (32). Adhir Bag and Akash Mohali were arrested late Thursday, and after they were interrogated, police arrested the other four accused.
