THE Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has informed the Bombay High Court that it is likely to file a supplementary chargesheet in the Sheena Bora murder case in the trial court in a week’s time.
The CBI made the submission during a hearing on former media executive Peter Mukerjea’s bail plea on Saturday.
Peter is accused in the murder case of his stepdaughter Sheena allegedly by his wife Indrani and her accomplices.
He had approached the high court after his bail plea was rejected by the special CBI court in May.
Peter has claimed that he had not been against the relationship of Sheena with his son Rahul — which Indrani was opposed to and was one of the probable motives behind the murder — but had blessed them by sending emails.
The matter is likely to come up for hearing in two weeks.
