Shiv Sena asks Centre if surgical strikes will happen against China

The edit also suggested the present ruling disposition seemed to be only concentrating on Pakistani border at the expense of other borders.

The Shiv Sena has questioned the Centre whether it intends to carry out surgical strikes against China in view of reports of Chinese incursions into Ladakh.

“We are proud about the surgical strikes that took place in Pakistan. However whatever happened in Pakistan will the same surgical strike also take place against China,” an editorial in the Shiv Sena mouth piece Saamana said.

Watch what else is making news:

The editorial also took a swipe at Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar terming him a ‘bigmouth.’

“Our bigmouth defence minister should clarify on what action have our soldiers taken against this Chinese incursion. Only threatening Pakistan will not do, it is the responsibility of the defense minister to ensure security on the Chinese border as well. However people get ready applause when they speak about Pakistan at rallies. It is time that we extract ourselves from the politics of seeking applause and pay heed to national security, ” the edit stated.

The editorial also suggested that the present ruling disposition seemed to be only concentrating on Pakistani border at the expense of other borders.

“We need to be alert at our border with China. We speak about not acceding an inch to Pakistan and on the other hand we do not speak about the deep incursions that China has made at Leh, Ladakh and Arunachal. This is not correct,” the edit said.

The Shiv Sena shares an uneasy alliance with the BJP which has been marked with political acrimony and bickering. The two parties have announced that they will contest municipal council elections across the state together. However in spite of this alliance the rancour between the two parties over is the more dominant force remains.

China is not a terrorist state. It does not send terrorists into India. Surgical strike is done not for the fun of it.

It is very easy to question anything than answering it.SS has many questions to ask its Partner BJP while in power and also to discharge duties a opposition Party.SS is both Ruling and Opposition Party. Two in one.Great going for Shiv Sena. Holding a Remote Control in hand helps to enjoy power without responsibility a seen with Sonia and Rahul hi during UPA Govt. So same with Udhav Thackeray.

I object to the term "Bigmouth" being use used for the Indian Defense Minister utterly objectionable. There is a tendency within the media to vent air on smoke in making the fire lit if it has no news to offer i.e. idle brain is a devil's workshop. Unless there has been a history of India historically carrying out willy-nilly without reason surgical attacks, the posing of such questions is absolutely ic. It certainly reflects the mindset and the credibility of the journalists and their editors.

Thank you for your time in expressing your views to my comment. I construe that you are a journalist. If that is true, tent your job is to display /outline the facts ensuring lack of sensationalism and emotiona /emotivel language so that the reader can correctly form his /her opinion on the matter discussed in the article. Sadly, excluding a few decent journalists, I find most of them having a jjuvenile approach to their profession and this article was a typical example. I stand by my comments and besides that I can also visualize behind the scenes political influences within the journalist world where a politician used the word that irked you and your colleagues alike.

Shiv Sena is sitting so close to BJP, they should know by now what is "Gujarat Model". Whenever the public appraisal graph is nose diving on the government, they will come up with some "Gujarat Model" achievement. It can be done against China also, what is the harm ?

Who knows, China wanted an answer and they approached Shiv Sena for help. The real question is, if India and stan become friends, then will India go for a surgical strike on China ? We have many complaints about them encroaching into our land and building dams, roads and building up military presence on the border etc. etc. Shiv Sena has asked a question. They need answer. You know, the MPs and MLAs ask questions in their respective legislative houses on some consideration. Whatever it is. Our question is what is the answer the alliance partner can give to China through Sena ?

BJP did not ask for their support. Do you remember, in the last cabinet reshufle, Modi rebuffed their demand. SS are shamelessly supporting govt. Even in Maharashtra they tried to flex muscles in tge beginning later, shameless SS joined the govt.

Street Warriors have specific functions in a Society, generally anhesis to anything meant development of a country, examples are Delhi and WB. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;China does for many years support terrorism in India, not probably through her soil but thru proxies, and some of the launching pads have been destro. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;To start a war or for that matter surgical strike, is easier said than to be done, not decided on the Streets. That matter lies on the table of a Statesman and collectively on the political set up in a democratic society.
