tej1 The court said that the report should reach it before November 28 — the next date of hearing. Of the two accused, Kaif has surrendered and Javed is still absconding.

The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Siwan Sessions Judge to submit a report whether the alleged criminals photographed with Bihar Minister Tej Pratap Singh were proclaimed offenders on the day the pictures were taken. The apex court was referring to the photographs of Mohammad Kaif and Mohammad Javed seen along with Bihar Health Minister and Lalu Prasad’s son.

The bench of Justice Dipak Misra and Justice Amitava Roy sought a report on the status of the two accused. Tej Pratap Singh and the Bihar government had told the court that on the day the two were seen with the Bihar lawmaker, they were not proclaimed offenders and his meeting them was a matter of chance.

The court said that the report should reach it before November 28 — the next date of hearing. Of the two accused, Kaif has surrendered and Javed is still absconding.

While seeking report from the Sessions Judge, the court also asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to submit a report on the status of its investigation into the murder of journalist Rajdev Ranjan, in which both the accused were allegedly involved.

The court’s order came on a petition by the victim’s widow Asha Ranjan alleging proximity between Kaif, Javed, Tej Pratap Singh and Rashtriya Janata Dal strongman Mohammad Shahabuddin — who is now in jail. She also sought transfer of the trial outside Bihar. The court had given CBI three months to complete the investigation.

Not one but everybody wonders why Lalu after so much guttala is out, may be on bail which is another puzzle. His w family and rather his near and dears are corrupt and law breaker but still enjoying freedom. His sons'open show of defiance of law is due his fathers political weight and courts upto highest level are becoming laughing stock in India by treating them with kids gloves.

Dear Judges if this is just a gimmick as compare to lalu's case then thank you for eye wash and if you are really serious then why ask, tell the cop to arrest this man and put him behind bar but you knows he's lalu's son and in bihar nobody have any power to touch these goons and their father whether they are in power or not. He is minister now and does need hundreds of formalities to arrest him so not possible.

What is wrong in my comment.Perhaps you have lost the basics of journalism.I have only elaborated what the Hon'S.C has said. Was kaif a proclaimed offender on the date when he was photographed with tej pratap? The intention is to find out if it was so why tej met himandwhy the police who was searching for him,did not make a arrest. As minister of the govt it was his duty of tej to get him arrested when he was in his company.Further the talk of politician/criminal nexus is a matter of serious concern to our democracy.Every one from courts to politicians/acedemics to beuocracy is concerned.UPandBihar are the worst affected states.IE has reported in its news cols several times on this phenomna. If you donot like the truthandyour reporting in the past, say you are duplicate.

Why and how Mr Lalu is still out on bail and how is the cm is still keeping quiet? Is he worried about his chair? Worst third rate politics is being pla at Bihar and the sufferers are the Biharies. We are happy that they have to suffer since they only wanted ' AAV BAIL MUJE MAR syndrome. Bihar can never improve and will remain like this till such time the people wake up and throw out all these crooks from power. Jai HInd.
