Investigation into the ‘objectionable’ CD of Delhi ex-minister Sandeep Kumar have not yet found any concrete evidence against any of the persons believed to have been involved in the release of the CD, police said. The sacked minister had alleged his personal secretary Praveen, along with one of his associates, Mahipal were responsible for leaking the CD.

A senior police officer told The Indian Express that Kumar was not cooperating with the police investigation and had changed his stand multiple times. On Tuesday night, police took him to his house in Sultanpur Majra and seized some more mobile phones and his laptops. They also recovered some recording devices, said sources.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer) Vikramjit Singh said nothing incriminating was found from Praveen and Mahipal but they were not given a clean chit yet. Singh added police were examining the recovered articles. Investigation has so far revealed the video was recorded by Kumar himself, police said. Investigators have tried to establish the reason for recording the video.

Kumar on Monday had allegedly told investigators that his personal secretary Praveen Kumar and his friend Mahipal had made the video and made it public. Following questioning of Kumar, whose three-day remand ends Thursday, Praveen and Mahipal were picked up by the investigators on Monday. Both have been questioned thrice since then, said sources.

Sources said police have also written to social networking sites to erase objectionable contents and pictures of Kumar from there.
