Days after Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, an affiliate of RSS, warned the government of agitation if its decision to ease FDI norms in 15 key sectors was not rolled back, the Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM), also linked to RSS, expressed anguish over the Centre’s move.
“SJM believes that the decision has been taken without going into its pros and cons. SJM demands these decisions be put on hold and a commission constituted taking all stakeholders on board to estimate loss to the economy,” Ashwani Mahajan,
All India Co-Convener of the Manch, said.
Stating that “government’s endeavour towards Make-in-India should be more of Made-by-India,” Mahajan said, “FDI has done more bad than good to the economy. There have been more outflows of royalty, interest, dividend, salaries, profits etc., than inflows of FDI.”
