The Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal of the RSS, which begins its three-day meet in Hyderabad on Sunday, is likely to issue a statement on surgical strikes and the recent controversy over Pakistani artistes in Bollywood.
Issues pertaining to Dalits will also be discussed during the meet, which is likely to condemn attacks on the community, call for their protection and demand stricter laws against caste-based discrimination.
The Mandal is the highest decision-making body of the Sangh and the meet will be attended by top RSS functionaries, including Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Suresh Bhayyaji Joshi and Sahsarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale.
The leaders are also likely to discuss the upcoming Uttar Pradesh polls, performance of the NDA government, the situation in Jammu & Kashmir and the performance of the state government.
The Sangh is also likely to come up with a statement on Muslim leaders misleading the community on triple talaq and Uniform Civil Code. It is likely to discuss the recent rebellion in the Goa RSS unit and might take a decision regarding disciplinary action.
Besides BJP, senior leaders of various wings of the RSS, including Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh and Vishwa Hindu Parishad are also sent to attend the meeting.
All these organisations will submit their annual reports and their activities in various states will be reviewed.
