Senior RSS functionary Indresh Kumar has appealed to the youth in the country to take a vow to unite parts of India separated from it and make the dream of ‘Akhand Bharat’ a reality.

“Now no land will remain detached from Bharat. People should respect each and every inch of land of the nation, then only there will be love, peace, harmony in society and people will work to re-unite the separated land,” Kumar, a member of the RSS national executive (Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha). said in his address to a gathering of youth here last evening.

Kumar called on the youth to take a vow to make ‘Akhand Bharat’ a reality.

Kumar accused the British of breaking up India to consolidate their Government and power. When British started their rule, the total geographical area of the country was spread over 83 lakh sq km and when they left India in 1947, the area shrunk to a mere 33 lakh sq km.

After Independence, 1.74 lakh sq km area of India is in unauthorised occupation of China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar, he said.

Going back into history, Kumar said, ‘Mahabharat’ war was fought 5,154 years ago.

After the war, Yudhishtir became the emperor of this great nation, which was spread from “last corner of Indian Ocean to Himalayas”.

This meant, Iraq, Iran, Nepal, Afghanistan, Brahmadesh (Myanmar), Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Indonesia, among others, were once parts of Bharat. This great country faced constant attacks from Huns, Kushans, Mughals and British, he said.

“Though the boundaries of Bharat have shrunk over the centuries, the country is still maintaining its own identity and cultural values,” he stated.

Kumar said the country got independence not because of ‘Quit India’ or ‘non co-operation’ movements of Mahatma Gandhi, but because of armed force, Azad Hind Sena, formed by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

It was because of the revolution led by Bose that British had no alternative but to leave the country, the RSS veteran said.

hi prepared 20 Crores minds that they deserve freedom. He united all communities to ask for freedom. This movement culminated in producing leaders like Bose. RSS conveniently closes eyes to respect that even revolutionaries had for hi. Ram Parsad Bismil, Bhagat Singh, Azad, Bose - all sought blessing from hi. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Mutiny by Navy in then Bombay was also a trigger in Britisher's thinking of leaving Bharat. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Why do we need to add filth of stan and Afghanistan in our country. Don't we have enough of these ???

What a botched up narrative. Totally distorted version of past. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; With scientifically proven facts, a history backed by several Indian historians is not accepted by these guys. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; A sinister design to discredit ways of MG, current generation of youth will teach them a lesson.

I have been hearing this theme for close to 30 years in enclosures but not much has been done to make it public agenda. Many signature campaigns were held in the past for cow protection, Sri Ram janmabhoomi etc but none for 'akhand Bharat'.lt;br/gt;It is not an impracticable idea nor obnoxious.Akhand Bharat can exist as a great/powerful federation with few more states along with Indian ones.lt;br/gt;However I pity the man who could coin the term 'cultural akhand Bharat' for public consumption; for what is its utility in absence of a geographic area?lt;br/gt;Now if the organization is serious of it it must first educate w potions of the region overtly about the idea, its pros and cons for one year, take an opinion poll and see where it stands.lt;br/gt;Even if the idea fructifies it cannot be termed as 'Akhand Hindu Rashtra' any more.

RSS itself is 90 years old and since then they have written their own version of History which none believes except themselves. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; I wonder when children of Sanghis in today's globalised world, settle outside, do they tell their own version of History. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt; Sure, their foreign counterpart must be looking alien to them.
