Lashing out at AAP on their stand on the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) issue, Punjab Revenue and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia Monday claimed people cannot expect much from a party whose leaders keep changing their stands.
Taking a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, he said that the AAP convener supported Punjab on the SYL issue when he visited the state and later went back on his stand after reaching Delhi.
He said this while interacting with the media on the sidelines of a thanksgiving rally organised by Urban District president Jatinder Singh Lally Bajwa at Hoshiarpur.
Claiming that Kejriwal is making false promises in Punjab, Majithia accused him of sheltering the corrupt and women exploiters and that if anyone tries to stand up against such activities within the party, he shows them the door.
Commenting on the declining graph of the Congress in Punjab, Majithia said that the party is frustrated and it was witnessed in its violent behaviour during the last Vidhan Sabha session recently.
