“Why was the vigilance case against (Punjab Congress chief) Captain Amarinder Singh cancelled (by the vigilance bureau)? What is the deal that has been struck between SAD and Congress? A few years ago even Captain fought tooth and nail for a CBI inquiry against Bikram Singh Majithia and now he is against it,” said Kejriwal at a press conference here.

He even accused Amarinder of being a “joint candidate of SAD, BJP and Congress.”

“I would like to caution all Punjabis that each vote they will give to SAD or BJP will go for drugs. Each vote for Captain will not go to Captain but Badals and each vote for AAP will be for drug-free state,” said Kejriwal. “Some people say I fight a lot with PM Narendra Modi. They say that if we win in Punjab, we will keep blaming Modi for everything. But today I would like to ask that what Akalis got for Punjab? Did Modi grant any special package to Punjab?”

Mahila congress workers protested outside the venue with placards of ‘Anti Aurat Party’ and also threw bangles at Kejriwal’s cavalcade.
