Storytelling museum will be unveiled to mark the completion of Pranab Mukherjee’s four years in office

A storytelling museum, five books on Rashtrapati Bhavan and three portfolios of paintings in the Rashtrapati Bhavan will be unveiled to mark the completion of four years in office for President Pranab Mukherjee.

PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate Phase-II of Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum on July 25. This is the last section of the museum complex, which comprises Stables Museum (Phase-I), Garages Museum (Phase-II) and the Clock Tower.

The Phase-II Museum, spread over 10,000 sq m, will depict story of the planning and construction of Rashtrapati Bhavan, the British Viceroys who stayed there, their reaction to the freedom movement and the transfer of power. It will also depict formation of the Republic, life and work of 13 Presidents of India, life in Rashtrapati Bhavan and the beauty and environment of the campus.
