The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has appreciated Narendra Modi’s efforts to raise the issue of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and terrorism during the bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, and added that the Prime Minister needs to focus on Kashmir rather than Balochistan.

Speaking to reporters, NCP leader Majid Memon said despite the Prime Minister’s effort, the Chinese will not be receptive to India’s concerns as the relation between the two countries “has not been very friendly”.

“The effort of the Prime Minister to bring about China in our support, both in obtaining membership (NSG) and also in resolving the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir issue and exposing Pakistan as far a terrorism is concerned, but I don’t find there would be a very positive and warm response from China, because China has not been very friendly with us all these days,” he said.

“They have opposed our membership to the NSG and they are not going to apparently interfere in the PoK matter with us. In fact, our ‘own’ Kashmir is burning for 60 days for which the Prime Minister needs to act urgently rather than talking about PoK and Balochistan,” he added.

During the talks, which took place on the sidelines of the G20 Summit, undertaking in Hangzhou, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the menace of terrorism, saying the recent attacks show how it is spreading across the world and is, therefore, a matter of grave concern. He also condemned the terrorist bomb attack at China’s embassy in Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek. The Prime Minister also involved Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa (BRICS) members

The Prime Minister also involved Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa (BRICS) members, to raise awareness about the dangers of Pakistan-based terrorism.

Looking at the Indian history and demographics since 1800s and then since 1951, the day is not far when there is another parion and the size of India becomes 1/2 the size which is today (Do not forget that in 1947) more than 1/4th land area of India ceded to become what is today stan and Bangladesh. The princely state of history India do exist but they are now big nations on it's periphery. These nations are there to stay and no amount of military, political and economic power can alter that. With CPEC quickly completing, stani economic turnaround and China becoming the biggest economy in world by 2025, there are tough days ahead for India.

Even so Mr Memon, India must raise issues that concern its National Interest including Balochistan. Do you raise issues related to other people whether they are directly related to you or not? If so, then in the same context India must also raise the issues. Will you give up politics and poking your nose in matters National Security? You will not, in the same manner India must not deviate from raising human rights issues of Balochistan. Lastly, it is also important Mr Memon, that one must decide which side one wants to be on. If you had showed 1/10th concern related to corruption by your party during the ruling tenure it would have gone a long way instead of demonstrating national security analytical views (which you do not have at all).

The NCP leader should go to Kasmir and advise the separatists and influence them to get peace instead of advising MODI. I also can throw advises. I fail to understand why media gives importance to these scap leaders who have no large following.
