Demonetisation is not the end but the beginning of a “long, deep and constant” battle against black money and corruption and will benefit the poor
and the common man, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday said as the BJP parliamentary party passed a unanimous resolution endorsing his “great crusade”. Speaking at the first meeting of the BJP Parliamentary Party in the Winter session, Modi said the poor and the lower and middle classes have suffered the most due to black money, fake currency and corruption and his government is working to rid the country of these evils and make the economy stronger. Rallying around the PM at a time when opposition parties have united to corner the government over the measure citing hardships being faced by the masses, party MPs passed a unanimous resolution supporting demonetisation and gave him a standing ovation.

Hitting out at the rival parties, the resolution asked them to decide whether they stand by the people of India and the government or hoarders of black money. While hailing PM’s “great crusade” against corruption, it accused the opposition of trying to provoke violence and chaos and disrupt Parliament, Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu told reporters.

“We have come to power not for us or those close to us but for the poor. For 70 years, the poor and the lower and middle classes suffered and have been exploited by black money, corruption and terrorism. Our aim is a deep, long and constant struggle against them.

“This is not the end but only a beginning of our struggle,” the Prime Minister said and cited measures like setting up of a SIT on blackmoney and Income Disclosure Scheme, 2016. The resolution said the demonetisation move had people’s support, claiming it was “the most profound statement to have ever come from the country”.

People are queueing up for a better India and all transformative decisions cause some pain, Naidu said. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said the move is in benefit of the country and its people. Terming it as a historic decision, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also briefed the party MPs about different facets of the move and how it will help the economy.

Everyone must remember if Narendra Modi fails in his fight against corruption and black money No PM of India in future will have the courage to take this issue again on his Agenda for next 100 years and Corrupt Politicians,Bureaucrats, Land Mafias,Criminals and businessmen will keeping this country looting in turn Aam Aadmi/Middle cl/Working cl/Poor and illiterate voters will suffer more than today. Therefore, it is duty of every responsible citizen to stand in support of Narendra Modi and stand behind him as Rock and support him and see all those corrupt and dishonest people who are against Demonetization must fail and they are not allowed to instigate poor people and create violence and Anarchy. otherwise our children and g children will never ever forgive us. Full marks to Modiji.for excellent action for the right cause. Was expecting the corrupt people will deposit their black notes of 500/1000 denomination. Are middle cl, farmers, and poor people have that much money? Are they corrupt? Where are the politicians, builders, businessmen, lawyers, flimy personalities in banks queues? Do they have enough 100 Rs notes for their daily needs? Mr. Janardhan Reddy spent 500 crores. There are several J. Reddys. One of the late Maharashtra Minister spent fortune for his daughters wedding. Nothing could be done by IT Department. Dear Modiji, How will these things be handled by you and a few of your honest party men?lt;br/gt;What have you done is historic and correct. We commoners are with you. Stricter action is needed.Be aware from psychoanalysts. They may support but has something other agenda in their minds. Ignores those who oppose this grtat decision of yours..lt;br/gt;Professor Ashok Deshpande PhD
