PM decision to demonetise currency notes has made history, shall be written in golden words: Rajasthan governor

On behalf of all citizens of Rajasthan, Governor Kalyan Singh on Friday hailed the “bold, honest, charitable and revolutionary decision of the Centre on demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes.”

In a statement, he said, “This is a landmark step for healthy, transparent and development oriented economy. This step is the clarion of independence of our country from terrorism, maoist violence, organised crime, drug trafficking and counterfeit currency.”

“The decision of our Prime Minister and his government has made a history and shall be written in golden words forever,” the governor said.
