The Kerala Government on Wednesday announced a financial aid of Rs 50 lakh for the family of the Lt Colonel E K Niranjan who was killed in the terrorist attack at the IAF base in Pathankot.

The cabinet also decided to give job for his widow Dr K G Radhika in state service and to bear the educational expenses of their daughter Vismaya.

Niranjan belonged to a Kerala family settled in Bangalore. His mortal remains were laid to rest at the family’s ancestral house in Palakkad district on Tuesday.

    It is really good , Kerla govt have decided to support the family. But ,in past it has been seen,after such annoucements,govt make the family run pillar to post to get this declared compensation. Hope this family will not go throgh such experience.
