Pathankot attack: Haryana govt announces memorial for martyr

Haryana government also announced that Rs 20 lakh would be given to the martyr’s family and a family member would get a job.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday visited the family of IAF Garud Commando Corporal Gursewak Singh and announced that a memorial would be built as a tribute to him, at his village Garnala in Ambala.

The state government also announced that Rs 20 lakh would be given to the martyr’s family and a family member would get a job. Singh was among the seven soldiers killed in the Pathankot attack.
