Line of control, Pakistan, Pakistan India LOC, Pakistan firing LOC, Pakistan LOC “Three Pakistani soldiers valiantly sacrificed their lives at the Line of Control while responding to Indian unprovoked firing,” army said.

Pakistan Army on Wednesday said that seven persons, including three of its soldiers, were killed in an exchange of fire with Indian troops on the LoC, taking the death toll in such incidents to 14 since last week. The clash occurred a day after India had warned of retribution after losing three soldiers due to firing by Pakistani troops. “Three Pakistani soldiers valiantly sacrificed their lives at the Line of Control while responding to Indian unprovoked firing,” army said. Those killed were identified as Captain Taimoor Ali Khan, Havaldar Mushtaq Hussain and Lance Naik Ghulam Hussain. The statement also claimed that seven Indian troops were killed in retaliatory fire.

Additional Directorate General of Public Information, IHQ of MoD (Army) informed media that Pakistan has requested for DGMO level talks after the incident. Strongly condemning the death of Indian soldiers and barbaric mutilation of one of them, the Ministry of External Affairs, meanwhile, has summoned Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner.

In an earlier statement, the army said four civilians were killed as Indian troops targeted a passenger bus near Dhudnial in Neelam valley. However, media reports said that up to 10 civilians were killed today due to firing by Indian troops. Meanwhile, Pakistan yesterday rejected as “false” and “baseless” the charges that the body of an Indian soldier was mutilated by Pakistani soldiers in a cross LoC-attack.

Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Nafees Zakaria in a series of tweets said the reports about the mutilation were
aimed at maligning Pakistan. “Pakistan strongly rejects the false & baseless Indian media reports regarding the alleged mutilation of an Indian solider on the LoC. These reports are a fabrication and a blatant attempt to malign Pakistan,” he had said.

Zakaria said as a professional force, Pakistan Army isn’t involved in any such “unethical & non-professional” activity. He had said the Pakistan Army never supported any such action. However, he said, Pakistan is fully prepared and ready to respond to any misadventure across the LoC, Working Boundary or the International Border.

I disagree....I think morale levels are down....they are targeting indiscriminately in a inhumane way which is being responded to in a inhumane way....the vicious cycle will go on until someone starts realising that we have all been pla just to secure another term in office. lt;br/gt;lt;br/gt;The Indian army is still developing - it will get there but not yet. It must formulate rules of engagement like most western armys so when events like this occur they have credentials to back claims. But Indiscriminate killing of civilians and especially ambulance service men doesnt help our armies image and country image around the world..Period - why? Because its wrong to kill the innocent and if you cant see that then you need your head examining.

I think give Kashmir to stan and lets get rid of this old feud... the future there will be no borders anyway so who cares if Kashmir goes to stan...if it was not for Nehru's little secretary and the first two generals of stan Kashmir would have never been in India's control.

Look India is one it will stay that way....the only issue is Kashmir....once the LOC becomes a soft border (which it will) and the valley handed to stan there will be peace...there is no room for a second or third state....sorry.

You can see the difference between governments. One is punishing terrorists and nation supporting terrorists, While previous one were busy giving respects to terrorists by addressing them as "Osama jee" or "Ishrat jee" and calling BATLA Encounter as fake, Sonia jee cried a lot when she heard about this, but did not mind calling own people "maut ka saudagar" Only because that person was asking equality of Hindu with others. Shame on Congress and rest pseudo seculars.

I don't think this relationship will work, no point of affiliating with the stanis. This will not work - it's dysfunctional. You just know when a relationship ceases to function - you have to bury it. No diplomatic relations please - India's had enough.
