The former Chief Minister remarked on some of the questions asked of the Prime Minister saying it would be safe to assume that the British press was not "advised" about the questions to be asked.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday took on critics of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech to British Parliamentarians asking “why cannot we take pride” in the excellent speech made by him.

“The Indian PM made an excellent speech to British MPs in their Parliament. Why can’t we just take pride in that?” Omar said in response to a tweet on a Twitter account which claims to be a handle for Congress volunteers. “PM didn’t address joint session of parliament, but a speech to MPs in the royal gallery. Yeh Jhoot bhi pakda gaya (this lie has also been caught),” the volunteer handle, @withCongress, had tweeted.

The former Chief Minister remarked on some of the questions asked of the Prime Minister saying it would be safe to assume that the British press was not “advised” about the questions to be asked. “I think we can safely assume that the British press was not ‘advised’ about what to ask & what not to. Some very hard hitting questions!” he said.

However, he made it clear that second part of the question asked by the British newspaper ‘Guardian’ was “disrespectful” towards the Prime Minister. “The second part of the @guardian question to PM Modi was rather disrespectful to say the least,” he said.

The Guardian reporter had asked Modi about protests on the streets of London saying he did not deserve the respect that would normally be accorded to the leader of the world’s largest democracy given his record as Gujarat Chief Minister.

Imagine a person never went to regular college as he could not afford.( His masters in Political Science is through external courses.) As pracharakand BJP worker had meals at supporters homes or party office. Was kicked out to HimachalPradesh as SangathanMantri and later became All India BJP's "Organizing Secretary when party leadership wanted to make rebel Shankrsinh Waghela happy. ( where is Shankrsinh now?). Fasts Nine days of " Navratri" twice in year (According to Hindu caleder in "Chatra" and "Also" months and still keeps physical and mental strength at same level (During first visit to USA he was fasting for all days) attending meeting after meeting, extensive travelling and making major decisions (try fasting two days and your energy to think will decline) must have some "Divine" power behind him. India is fortunate that after long time we got true Statesman as our leader who does not have any personal desires except making his country world's no one and ready to sacrifice his life for motherland. If we had leader like him at our freedom we won't have lost huge chunk of land to China & stan. They never had borders. Due to Pak occupied Kashmir they share bouncy now. Congress sold country and now complaint that Modi is embarring us. May God give Modiji healthy and long life to serve our country.

Why is he making such statements only when he is out of India? Does his speech writer not get such ideas when he is in India? Or is he not allowed
