Omar questions AI’s decision not to serve non-veg food: ‘Hard to understand the logic of this’

Air India recently said that they won't be serving non-veg food in 60-90 minutes domestic flights.

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday questioned the decision of Air India to serve only vegetarian meals on short duration flights.

“Pray tell why? I’m trying hard to understand the logic of this decision but I’m really struggling @airindiain,” Omar wrote on Twitter. Omar retwitted reports that only vegetarian meals will be served in economy class in domestic flights of duration between an hour and 90 minutes.

    The question of serving veg or non veg is entirely Air India decision and many airlines do not even serve that and reason for such comments from politicians is unwarrented

    Air india should focus on making other important decisions to make profits. For many years they have been eating away tax payers mibey. Such decisions will further reduce pengers. And its easy to understand who is behind such decisions.
