The AAP in Goa on Monday threatened to file a police complaint after “objectionable” posters showing sacked Delhi minister Sandeep Kumar came up across the state with the party election symbol on it.

Sandeep, an MLA from Sultanpur Majra in Delhi was arrested last week on rape and other charges following a complaint by a woman who purportedly figured in an “objectionable” CD with him. He was also suspended from AAP after the scandal came to light.

His posters were put up in Panaji, Margao, Ponda, Vasco and Mapusa markets besides other prominent places in Goa with “AAP for Women Empowerment” written on it. The picture of broom, which is AAP’s symbol, has also been displayed on the posters.

“I suspect BJP behind such acts. BJP rules and governs the state (Goa). They should see to it that proper inquiry is conducted into such acts,” AAP Goa Convener Walmiki Naik told reporters here.

The party will file a formal police complaint, Naik said. “AAP condemns such cheap tactics.

“We won’t mind people criticising our developmental work or policies but someone stooping down to such a level is unexpected,” he said.

He said the resorting to putting up such posters “is the worst example of politics”. AAP has began ground work in Goa for the upcoming Assembly elections where they will contest all the 40 seats.

Sandeep, who is being interrogated by the police, has claimed innocence in the matter.

The former women and child development minister has been booked on charges of rape, transmission of material containing sexually explicit act and taking illegal gratification.

In her complaint, the woman alleged that around 11 months ago, she was raped by him when she had gone to his office in outer Delhi’s Sultanpuri seeking help to obtain a ration card.

Sandeep was removed from the AAP government on August 31 by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after the CD purportedly showing him in compromising position with the woman surfaced.

Definitely if the Kejri and his party AAP has done this to Delhi, then Mr. Kejri will now ensure to outperform this in Goa by selecting leaders with more capabilities than Sandeep Kumar so that in Goa if the AAP comes to power, the goa AAP minister will be in compromising position with more than 2 girls to up the ante, :)

This has become a burning issue in political corridors addition to this,it is learnt that today Congress workers have gone on silent-protests against Asutosh for his statement on hiji. The question is:IF SLOGANEERING TO BREAK INDIAN NATION IN PIECES AT JNU BY THE FAVORITES OF PAPPU IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH,THEN ASUTOSH STATEMENT ALSO GOES UNDER FREEDOM OF SPEECH.HI IS NO HIGHER THAN BHARAT MATA.MOREOVER FIRST THESE CONGRESS CHAMCHAAS SHOULD PROVE THAT ASUTOSH'S STATEMENT IS A LIE.THEN ONLY THEY CAN GO FOR THIS BUSINESS.UNLESS PROVED TO BE A LIE,TRUTH CAN GO UNDER FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
