A day after BJD parliamentary party leader Bhartruhari Mahtab said his party was not averse to joining forces with the Congress to fight the BJP, Odisha Chief Minister and BJD chief Naveen Patnaik on Thursday said there was no scope for any such arrangement.

“There is no question at all of any alliance with Congress,” Patnaik said, alleging that the party had always neglected Odisha. Patnaik was addressing a public meeting at Simulia area of Balasore district.
BJD spokesperson Pratap Deb said Mahtab may have voiced his personal opinion, but the party had not authorised him to say so.

On Wednesday Mahtab had said the BJD may consider an alliance with the Congress. “Our position is that we may reconsider our stand of equidistance from the Congress and BJP. Politics is dynamic and nobody is untouchable,” he had told The Indian Express.

Only Option is BJP , we are observing , many parties are supporting desdrohee Kanheya to get Vote Bank , but by this they are proving themselves that their party is against country.....and voters are intelligent now a days , they will certainly thow the anti-national parties like Congress , AAP kejri, TMC , etc......who are supporting anti-nationals , in dustbin . Now a days to get votes from public the parties have to prove their loyality to country.along with developement . No loyality (nationalism) no vote.
