Cornering the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged the nation to break the cycle of the two parties to make Uttar Pradesh an “Uttam Pradesh”.

He said he has requested the citizens to dedicate message and a well wish for all the jawans and security forces this Diwali. Escalating his attack on the Samajwadi Party, the Prime Minister said the farmers in Mahoba have faced grave injustice as this land is capable of reaping gold but farmers got no water.

“Earlier I used to ask people from Bundelkhand in Gujarat if they were from Uttar Pradesh or Madhya Pradesh. They all used to say Uttar Pradesh then I stopped asking. Because then I realised that had these people been from Madhya Pradesh they wouldn’t have to come all the way to Gujarat for employment,” he added.

Expressing confidence, Prime Minister Modi said the people would give absolute majority to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Taking a jibe at both the Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party, the Prime Minister said: “On one side, there are those who want to save their family. On the other side, there are those who just want power. While, we are those who just want to save Uttar Pradesh. This land of Uttar Pradesh is our mother, and we won’t let our mother be looted anymore.”

Money was provided to Bundelkhand for some projects, and yet no work was done here…you will be very sad to hear this.” Stating that Uttar Pradesh has given many Prime Ministers to the nation, Prime Minister Modi said the state has a claim on him as well. “I want to do more work than all those Prime Ministers put together. Modi is not born to rule…he is born to do hard work,” he added.

Prime Minister Modi also said that the issue of triple talaq should not be politicised, adding that proper measures should be taken to give equal rights to women. “I am surprised that for vote bank politics, some parties want to keep Muslim women bereft of their natural rights. I request people who participate in TV debates don’t make women rights into Muslim Hindu issue. Women’s right is a development issue. People from Uttar Pradesh will wait for Uttar Pradesh this time, Delhi knows that Uttar Pradesh has decided this,” he added.

you tell me. :-) Maharashtra was always an industriuos state. BJP has nothing to do with it. The law and order situation is worse in last 60 years of the state's history.

Congress / NCP ruled Maharastra for 15 years at a stretch. They spent more than Rs.17000 crores on irrigation projects in Maratwada and Vidharbha. But not one was completed and cost escalation was rampant. Corruption charges were there in all these projects and Bujbal is in jail for more than 2 months and heat is on Ajit Powar, then Dy CM.

Koya just see where is your Kerala. No development and all keralites have to pack their bags and move to other states for jobs. You people are the worst and only talk and ensure all industries are shut. When you will wake up. You have to go to PM only with begging bowl.
