Khalistan Liberation Front chief Harminder Mintoo and five others escaped from Nabha jail in Punjab on Sunday after armed men in police uniform tricked the sentries into opening the gates and bolted out with the inmates firing a hail of bullets. Among the escapees was another terrorist Kashmira Singh, according to Punjab police chief Suresh Arora.

However, hours later, the alleged “mastermind” of the daring daylight jailbreak, Parminder Singh, was arrested from Kairana in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli district when the getaway vehicle–a Toyota Fortuner–was stopped at a police picket. A self-loading rifle (SLR), three rifles and several rounds of ammunition were recovered from the SUV during the search, UP’s Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Daljit Singh Chaudhary said.

Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal suspended Nabha Jail DG and set up a special task force to track down the escaped convicts. The Home Ministry sought a report from the state government over the incident.

According to police, six to eight persons in police uniforms came on four vehicles Toyota Fortuner (white color) Hyundai Verna (white), Honda City (white) and Hyundai i20 (beige color) and fired several shots before escaping with the six inmates.

After the terrorists leave they have surrounded the areas and trying to catch them! IPS=I PAID SOMEONE! There is only one conclusion that is connivance between the police, politicians and terrorists. 100 rounds were fired and not one policeman dead! They must be shooting in the air, even then some would fall on someone's head. If the central government stopped the currency racket the police found one more area to make money. Punjab has become five rivers of corruption. "Badal Jab Tak Hai Tab Tak Desh Badal Nahi Sakta!

The entire police recruitment and training has to be reversed to hire policemen who do their duty and enforce the laws of the country. Unfortunately most of the police in India are hired via caste based quotas, nepotism and bribery, so the quality material never becomes a policeman. Then comes to get rid of politicians using the police to score points, while allowing low level corruption to flourish within the ranks of the police. The notorious courts and their chronic delays have let the w judiciary as a paper tiger.

What's wrong with the Army and police forces? Pak is attacking army at its will in J.K and Terrorists are breaking the jail with the help of insiders or politicians. This is the second incidence of breaking jail in nearly 2 months.lt;br/gt;Why is so much security lapse? lt;br/gt;Country is already paralyzed due to demonetization.
