Missing BCA student’s body recovered, family alleges murder

It is suspected that he had committed suicide by jumping in front of the train, police said.

The body of a 18-year-old student, with his throat slit, was found near a railway track near Bamanheri village here, police said on Tuesday. Navin Kumar was a BCA student and went missing on Monday.

It is suspected that he had committed suicide by jumping in front of the train, police said. However, his family has alleged that he was murdered.

“The family members ara saying that he was killed by some miscreants and his body was thrown at the track in a bid to make it look like a suicide,” said SHO Kishan Kumar. His body has been sent for post-mortem and an investigation is on, he said.
