Claiming to have solved the Malvani triple murder case, in which a 50-year-old woman and her two grandchildren were found dead in their Malvani home Thursday morning, the Mumbai Police Crime Branch Saturday arrested three people, including one woman from Valsad in Gujarat.

The accused, the police claimed, had to get back money from the deceased Babli Shaw and that she was allegedly not giving it back. “We identified the suspects using technical surveillance and tracked their phones and got to them,” said a Crime Branch officer. The Crime Branch will release details of the motive at a press conference on Sunday morning.
