Mulayam Singh Yadav announces Rs 5 lakh assistance to martyrs’ families

Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav Friday announced financial assistance of five lakh rupees each for two soldiers who died in an ambush by terrorists in Machhil sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The amount has been sanctioned from the ruling party’s fund, an SP release said in Lucknow. The former defence minister paid tributes to martyrs Manoj Kushwaha and Shahshank Singh, who belonged to Ghazipur district of the state, and offered condolences to the bereaved families.
