In face of defeat in UP he does not want his son to get blame as Mom did not make Pappu as head of Cong. In similar situation in 2014 LS elections.Blood is always thicker than water. With elephant becoming old and ragged very interesting situation will be in UP in coming election.

With the help of BJP, SP is going to come to power again in UP. It is in exchange of SP votes to BJP for the next parliament election. For BJP, next parliament election is more important than the UP election. BJP understands that if they seriously put up a fight in UP it will be a 4-corner fight, SP, BJP, BSP and Congress. It will give a chance to BSP to win the election in UP. If they go alone, BSP will repeat their success in parliament election also. So, for embly election BJP support is for SP.

Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav appears to be under pressure from his brother and his followers to make statement that the party will not project his son as CM candidate in U.P. in coming elections. The present CM has done good work and has remained away from controversies and the party will be deprived to take credit for achievements in the State in the tenure of present CM ,if be is not projected as CM candidate again .Otherwise also any party which goes for election without naming the CM candidate is going to be in disadvantage situation as compared to other contenders ,whose CM candidates are named in advance .Mr Yadav should therefore try to convince his brother and others to remain together and think of the interest of the party as compared to individual interests in order to retain power in the State .
