MPs push for Right to Health, write to Health Minister J PNadda

The campaign has been calling for an increase in government expenditure on health services,besides universal and affordable access to healthcare for all.

As many as 20 MPs, mostly from Bihar, have written to Health Minister J P Nadda, backing the idea of universal access to health services as a Fundamental Right.

These MPs, including Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation Ram Kripal Yadav, have written separate letters to Nadda endorsing a campaign being run for a Right to Health legislation, on the lines of the Right to Education Act. The campaign has been calling for an increase in government expenditure on health services,besides universal and affordable access to healthcare for all.
