Asserting that there are terror groups that are instruments of state’s policy and design, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said terrorism uses diverse motivations and causes that cannot be justified.

Addressing the first World Sufi Forum, Modi in an oblique reference to Pakistan said while some are trained in organised camps, there are others who “find their inspiration” in cyber space.

“There are forces and groups that are instruments of state policy and design. There are others recruited to the cause in misguided belief.

“There are some who are trained in organised camps. There are those who find their inspiration in the borderless world of cyber space. Terrorism uses diverse motivations and causes, none of which can be justified,” he said at the Forum convened by the All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board to discuss the role of Sufism in countering rising global terror.

The four-day long event is organised by All India Ulama and Mashaikh Board (AIUMB), the apex body of Sufi Dargahs in India.

The event will see more than 200 Indian and International delegates, spiritual leaders, scholars, academicians and masters of Sufism, under one roof.

If the terrorists want to bring religion into this consider that religion is purely political and treat it as such.

Is some one wants to live in peace and harmony with others, others who also want to live in peace and harmony have no problem to leave with each other and that is what PM Modi is saying. If Allah has 99 names many have their own names and ultimately all comes to this: "Arose by any other name would smell as sweet"! It's only the illiterates who will have a problem who do not not know what is rose and what is its smell or sweetness and that is what the PM is trying to emphasize. The mafias of India will definitely have problem with this knowledge because it will stop any of their "progress" of fooling the people in their night raiding tracks!
