Ink was thrown at Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on Monday while he was speaking with the media after leaving LG Najeeb Jung’s residence. The attacker reportedly claimed that he had no political affiliation and did it to show his anger over absence of AAP ministers while Delhi was suffering from increased cases of Dengue and Chiknguniya.

The attacker, Brajesh Shukla, said: “He is going abroad on our money and people of Delhi are suffering.”

Delhi AAP ministers, including CM Arvind Kejriwal, have been facing a lot of criticism because of their absence while the menace of Dengue and Chikunguniya is increasing.

Sisodia, who also serves as Education Minister of New Delhi, was in Finland for a work-related visit where he was assessing the education system of the country.
