Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav Saturday warned officials that if their non-performance led to him losing his job, he would make things disastrous for them as well.
At a social enterprise summit held at his residence and attended by IAS officers, the CM reportedly said: “Before you make me jobless, I will make things disastrous for you.”
The summit was a closed-door meeting with as many as 10 divisional commissioners, nine district magistrates and principal secretaries and senior officials.
The event was named ‘Manch 2015’ and was organised by a private organisation, which has selected 30 development models from across the country. Of these, 25 have been selected for implementation in UP.
Akhilesh’s remark came in the light of the several months that it would apparently take before the projects’ effective implementation takes place.
