Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Pathankot, the site of a terrorist attack in Punjab on January 2. The attack was reportedly spearheaded by Pakistani terrorists, belonging to the Jaish-e-Muhammad outfit. Six terrorists and seven security personnel were killed during the exchange of gun fire.

The Prime Minister met IAF personnel at the air base which had witnessed an 84-hour siege. Tight security arrangements were made at the site.

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar had also visited the site.

Talking to a news channel, he said that strict action is being taken against elements involved in terror activities

11:35 am: The PM is likely to take an aerial survey over the base. Tight security arrangements have been made at the site around the base.

11:30 am: PM Modi reaches Pathankot.

        if the terrorist comes they just kill you....they dont threatened to kill you...probably the latter one is more painful than the first one...thats all about the story of bihar these days..they threatened...mother and sister can not walk safely on roads, big cities evening start after 7PM while in Bihar it ends at 7PM nowadays...i hope government would take some action....

          its our bad luck...people dont vote their caste...they vote for Rs 500 a towel and a day good food because majority ie 2/3rd potion is BPL and 36/38 Districts are backward district as declared by GOI

            when narendra modi going to visit Bihar the terrorist are ruling this state, and the jungle raj is back...daily murder are now common...plz visit BIhar also....or dismiss he state govt and the so jungle raj...impose president rule.....

                  Over 60 year Congress party making fool Innocent Indian public,Unfortunately they lost the election,Now they can not tolerate another party rule the India,Actually they can't robe the country,That is why they are causing problems,Main thing Modi is honest, Congress is all bloody thieves, Indian public should wake up reg Congress party,specially Nehru family.
