Solar scam accused Biju Radhakrishnan on Thursday informed the judicial commission, probing the fraud, that he wanted 10 hours time to furnish evidence to substantiate the allegations against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and others.

Last week, Radhakrishnan had deposed before the commission that Chandy, his two cabinet colleagues, and three others had sexual affair with Saritha S Nair, another accused in the cheating cases.

Subsequently, the commission had ordered Radhakrishnan to produce the evidence on Thursday, on December 10.

While being produced before the commission, Radhakrishnan, who is undergoing life term after he was convicted in the murder of his wife, told the media that he stands by his earlier statement.

“The CD containing the evidence is kept outside Kerala. I require time to bring it back to the state,’’ he said.

The proceedings at the commission are still going on. Although Radhakrishnan claimed he had evidence to prove the charges, Chief Minister Chandy and Saritha S Nair had challenged him to produce the evidence.
