Centre fooling people about ‘perks’: Hurriyat

A day after the Centre said the perks and security of separatist leaders would be slashed after they refused to meet all-party delegation that recently visited Kashmir, the Hurriyat Conference Wednesday rubbished the “claims” about perks as lies and an attempt to fool people. “These tactics are aimed at fooling and misleading the people of India and creating hysteria so that their attention is diverted from the actual issue on ground (in Kashmir), and they are kept ignorant about it,’’ a spokesperson for Hurriyat Conference (M) said.  “What houses, hotels and medical facilities are being provided to them (separatist leaders)? Why India would extend these favors needs to be asked.” ‘
