Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalitha has been in Chennai’s Appolo hospital since September 22 after she complained of fever and dehydration. She has been undergoing treatment ever since.

Supporters of ‘Amma’ have come out in numbers to show their support for the 68-year-old CM with many offering prayers for her health in temples, mosques and even outside the Apollo hospital. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Friday visited the hospital said she was recovering well. Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu also visited the hospital and said Jayalalithaa is recovering.

Opposition parties in Tamil Nadu have urged the ruling party to release a video or pictures of Jayalalithaa to end rumours about her health that have been doing the rounds. A plea in the Madras HC, that sought a release of pictures or videos, had also been dismissed.

You AIDMK people love these dramas!. So that, if she is alive you can enjoy the power. But common man doesn't care whether she is live or dead because it doesn't make any difference.

When none is allowed to visit her at the hospital the suion will only grow and why the State Administration is allowing to spread the false message through rumour mongers and also allowing the citizens to speculate on her health. It is common that all of us get the disease at some point of time and if you keep on secrecy with the health it will only affects her and her image and why AIADMK Party leaders and Minister failed to understand this and clarify is the query ????

When a por leader like CM of TN is in hospital for so long and no body is allowed to see or meet her and her well, wishers / followers are holding prayers for her good health at various places including near the Hospital ,where she is admitted ,then the primary responsibility of the State Administration is to stop any false rumours to spread.Secondly the efforts should be made to keep a watch on people at various places to keep them under control and to avoid any untoward incidence. The people of the State should be asked to use restraint and not to harm themselves or any body else for any reason. The TV and radio in their news bulletins can apprise the people of the latest health condition of the CM based on information received from the hospital sources to avoid any apprensions in the mind of public.
