Jammu: Arrested Pakistani ‘spy’ hospitalised

Identified as 85-year-old Mohammad Nazir, son of Fateh Din of Lahore, sources said that he was lodged in District Jail, Jammu.

An aged Pakistani national, who was arrested on charges of espionage in R S Pura sector in 2014, was admitted in hospital after he complained of urology problem on Tuesday night.

Identified as 85-year-old Mohammad Nazir, son of Fateh Din of Lahore, sources said that he was lodged in District Jail, Jammu. He was arrested after he crossed the international border from Pakistan side two years ago.

He was operated by a panel of doctors and kept in the Emergency Ward. His condition was stated to be stable, sources added.
