Jammu Kashmir: Two jawans were injured in the gunbattle in Nagrota

Security forces clashed with terrorists in  two different locations in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning as an army unit was attacked in Nagrota and terrorists from across the border tried to infiltrate into Indian territory in Samba sector.

Two jawans were injured in the gunbattle which ensued in Nagrota and the operation is still underway. On the other hand, BSF patrol was fired upon in Samba sector. An encounter broke out between the troops and the terrorists. along the International Border.

News agency ANI reported that the area around Border Out Post Chamliyal was cordoned off. Meanwhile, schools were ordered to remain shut in Nagrota following the attack.
