The Border Security Force on Thursday foiled an infiltration attempt by a group of terrorists along the international border in Hiranagar sector of Kathua district.

Giving details, sources said that alert BSF personnel noticed two suspected terrorists approaching the IB from Pakistan side during wee hours. Once they reached near the border, they hid themselves in the dead ground covered with wild growth.

Meanwhile, intelligence sleuths of state police apprehended a Pakistani national near kattal Chowk in Hiranagar. He has been identified as Abdul Yousuf, 42, of Goregam in Pakistan.
