An army jawan is reported to be injured after Pakistani troops violated ceasefire at Mendhar sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The development comes just a day after Pakistani army resorted to heavy shelling and firing on Friday in Poonch sector along the LoC.

There have been more than 25 incidences of ceasefire violation from Pakistani troops along the LoC since September 29 surgical strikes carried out by Indian Army.
