India has conducted “surgical strikes” on suspected militants in Pakistan it suspects of preparing to infiltrate into the part of Kashmir it controls, the army’s director general of military operations said on Thursday.

Lt General Ranbir Singh told reporters the strikes were launched on Wednesday based on “very specific and credible information that some terrorist units had positioned themselves to infiltrate”.

Singh said the strikes had caused significant casualties, and that he had called his Pakistani counterpart to inform him of the operation. An army source said that the strikes were launched across the Line of Control, or de facto border between the two countries.

A Liar PM is making a fool of a stupid nation who unfortunately elected him. No surgical strikes no heavy losses just a cross border firing which is a routine phenomenon. For how long you could make the fool of world like this? You are in fact isolating yourself and on a path of destruction.

A cross-border shootout is termed surgical strike!! Buffoon fans of the bluffmaster start chest-thumping! There are no good times when Modi is at the helm. The country is literally sick. There is no end to depressing events as Modi rules. His rule has become a joke and he a bluffmaster. Modi government has not lived up to the expectations of the voters. Let us forgive him for thinking ruling India would be as easy as ruling an already industrially advanced Gujarat. Indian prime-ministership is a different ballgame. India is not Gujarat. In fact, desperation to be a doer out to impress all and belittle rivals has landed the greatest BJP leader, the PM, in a trap. The situation under previous governments was not as bad as is now under Modi. There were corruption charges, but they had a knack of ruling the country with ease as they had immense experience in governance. Modi govt is ineffective as the ministers lack experience. They don't have enough capable ministers. The Kashmir issue was not resolved all these years, but violence was very much contained by the previous governments as tourist inflows to the state had proved. Nor did Congress/ bring the country to the brink of another destructive war. Even Atalji endangered the country like Modi and made the world jittery about the prospects of a nuclear war. True, Namo messed up Kashmir too as the latest, unprecedented, unending unrest there proves.
