Taking exception to the visit by Verma, China said it was firmly opposed to it and that any interference by Washington in the Sino-India boundary dispute will make it "more complicated" and "disturb" hard won peace at the border.

Rebuffing China for objecting to US Ambassador Richard Verma’s recent visit to Arunachal Pradesh, India on Monday said there was “nothing unusual” about his trip to a state which is an integral part of the country. “The US Ambassador visited Arunachal Pradesh, a state which is an integral part of the country to which he is accredited. There is nothing unusual in it,” External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said here.

Taking exception to the visit by Verma, China said it was firmly opposed to it and that any interference by Washington in the Sino-India boundary dispute will make it “more complicated” and “disturb” hard won peace at the border.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang also asked the S to desist from interfering in the India-China border dispute while referring to Verma’s October 22 tour to Tawang at the invitation of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

“We have also noted that the place visited by senior US diplomatic official is a disputed region between China and India. We are firmly opposed to his visit,” he said.

China claims Arunachal Pradesh as part of southern Tibet and routinely protests visits by Indian leaders, foreign officials as well as the Dalai Lama to the area.

Next time, India should vigorously object to any new foreign dignitary visiting Tibet. The communist China only knows how to complain and try to show its dominance over the neighbors. That's all. It does not have guts to stop sailing of the U.S. ships through South China Sea. Because, it knows that by doing so, the U.S. can teach it a lesson it will not forget.

China is clever by half, and ignorant of 100%. Not a single Tibetan accepted China's occupation, and Tibet was 100% lived by Tibetan. Not a single Hans (Chinese) were on Tibet before 1960. The people of Arunachal Pradesh are 100% Indian, and not a single Hans. China must realise, it cannot keep going around the world and occupy areas through military power.

The Chinese must be advised to refrain from CPEC project as it pes thru Kashmir which is an Indian territory part of which is under illegal occupation of Pak.The megalomaniac wants SCS , Tibet, Arunachal and what not as part of China. If it is not stopped it would swallow the weak as it did to Tibet stifling Tibetans for it knows that Tibet does not belong to it and holds on to it for its strategic importance
