The body of a 20-year-old man, dressed as a woman, was found at a flat in Gurgaon’s Palam Vihar on Thursday morning, police said. Police said the victim had been stabbed to death.
The body was found in the home of a businessman, who was, according to his neighbours, out of town at the time, police said. The deceased has been identified as Khushbu alias Jainish, police said
A case has been registered at Palam Vihar police station under IPC Sections 302 (murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention). Police also recovered a bottle of alcohol and a kitchen knife, which appears to be the murder weapon, from the spot.
“Our investigations so far indicate that the businessman’s driver and domestic help, identified as Pintu Paswan and Ranvir, may be behind the murder. They have been missing since it happened,” said SI Krishan Soni, the investigating officer of the case.
Soni said that Jainish may have worked for an escort service, and that the accused are suspected to have contacted him to come to the businessman’s house. “Further investigations are underway, we will nab the accused soon,” Soni said.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old tea seller in Gurgaon was stabbed to death by two men near Guru Dronacharya Metro station on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday, police said.
