The Army Monday foiled a major infiltration bid and killed five heavily-armed militants in north Kashmir’s Uri sector. The operation is still on, officials said. Officials said the militants were coming from the Gawalta side when they were intercepted. Sources said two Army officials were injured. An army spokesperson, however, denied that any security personnel sustained injuries. Officials said the militants who have been killed are yet to be identified.
