Addressing a rally at Maghi Mela, Kejriwal said if the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) forms the government in Punjab, it will probe the sacrilege incidents in the state and take action against police officers for opening fire at protesting Sikhs at Behbal Kalan in which two persons were killed.

After a massive mandate in Delhi, Kejriwal looks for AAP’s victory in Punjab where the party had secured four Lok Sabha seats in 2014 General Elections.

Here are some quotes from Kejriwal’s speech at Maghi Mela

# “How can I be scared of Badal when I was not scared of Badal’s ‘Taau’ – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who sent CBI to raid me? It is Mulayam, Mayawati or Badal who can get scared of CBI. I am not.”

# “People were fed up with corruption in Delhi. I took action against several officials who were charged with graft. Officers have now stopped demanding money. Though corruption has not been fully eliminated, we have been able to finish 80 per cent of corruption from Delhi.”

# “I was very hurt with the Kotakpura incident where the sacrilege incident occurred… Then on the directions of Badal, police opened fire on Sikh protesters who were peacefully protesting in which two persons died. I take a vow that those who were involved in the incidents of sacrilege will be put behind bars. I will also send cops who fired at innocent people and police officials who ordered them to fire behind bars.”

# “If I attain martyrdom for Punjab, then there will not be any problem.”

# On dynasty politics in Punjab: “You can see in the Badal government. Parkash Singh Badal is CM, his son Sukhbir Badal in Deputy CM, his daughter-in-law Harsimrat Badal is a (Union) minister. Harsimrat’s brother Bikram Majithia and Badal’s son-in-law are also ministers. Same in the case of Amarinder, his wife Preneet Kaur and son Raninder had also fought elections.”

# “Has the state government acted in providing justice to the Dalits? We will give justice to Dalits for atrocities committed on them during last 10 years.”

# “If voted to power in 2017, AAP govt will give Rs 1 crore compensation to the family of jawans who lost their lives in Pathankot attack.”

Punjab should adapt these policies to help combat state problems: 1) plant 2 trees/plants if 1 is removed. Especially around polluted cities. 2) sikhs should set up independent miniority protection agency. That works to protect the states interest and of sikhs and inspects cases against such as these and also of farmers of state. 3) add more factories such as sugar, cotton, textile, water mills, and other food industries and packaging and transport industries. 4) each city should look to develop a town hall that manages that village/city and helps keep roads and traffic clear and sort of self governance in the area. 5) druggy people should be sent to rehab centers and state should promote sports thru media. Police should catch druggy people and jail them. 6) increase border security. I think that would be a good way to solve punjabs current problems.

Politics brings scoundrels and liars to their to their lowest common denominator of lumpen mobilisation for votes. Falsehoods are bandied about fearlessly. What has Kejriwal done for citizens of Delhi except indulgence in name calling. Roads have become pots. Public lands are being sold for balatant encroachment. Constant illegal construction is going on. Worst taxi and auto service in the country as they enjoy AAP protection. Punjabis prepare yourself to become a failed state by voting for Kejriwal.

It is correct that Punjab and UP have become new models of dynasty politics. The w lot of sons, daughters, daughter-in-laws are found to hold top political posts. These posts have become fiefdom of the few.
