If the disappointment of the Kerala electorate towards the Congress and CPM-led political fronts gets translated into votes, the third front would be a reality in Kerala, said Nair.

Indicating that he is in favour of a third front led by BJP in Kerala, former ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair on Tuesday said that he would cooperate with Hindu Ezhava leader Vellappally Natesan’s Kerala yatra.

Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Natesan will launch a statewide tour next month to highlight its demand of social justice. Nair has agreed to be the patron of the yatra, said Natesan’s son and SNDP Yogam vice-president Thushar Vellappally.

If the disappointment of the Kerala electorate towards the Congress and CPM-led political fronts gets translated into votes, the third front would be a reality in Kerala, said Nair.

However, he said that he would not join politics, but back the movement ideologically.

Meanwhile, former Naxalite Philip M Prasad said that he would join hands with Natesan as “both the Congress and CPM are opposed to the idea of the rise of the backward class”.

Let Natesan conduct the yaatra since every leader, whether political or communal, is in the habit of conducting yaatras from kasargod to Thiruvanandapuram to highlight various issues whether real or imaginary and if i remember correct even Kerala congress Mani has conducted one ! that too to highlight the only issue which they are concerned with...Rubber...Chennithala has conducted one...Sudheeran ,many and only Muslim league has not conducted one since it might be against Islam to conduct yaatraas since every reasonable act considered essential to civilization is unislamic.dia has always been a cauldron of worlviews, whwther Hindu,Buddhist, jain or Sikh and frankly Christian and Islamic Semitic ideologies, presecuting and prosletysing,is against Indian spirit since the concept of a benevolent creator is forgein to Indian religious conciousness. The caste system gains credence in Kerala only by 17th century and Nair caste always drew its strength as warriors and protectors licensed to carry arms and as administrators of royal households and were landed propritors.Ezhavas also were feudal cl in Malabar and had a fair say in the social system. Guru rebelled against a particular description and identification of ezhavas with toddy extraction as life's calling that was so atrocious to his cosmic/Vedanta vision of man. Christians and Muslims have pla only a marginal and insignificant role in the formation of Kerala society and the less said about them the better. Any and every fool and even some bishop has conducted yaatra and if Natesan aims at consolidation of Hindu ideny(which is the defining character of the nation) it to be welcomed about and political mobilization of Hindu society in Kerala may be disturbing to many a sheep flock, their beggarly shepherds, poisonous polygamist pracioners bearded bomb bearers.
