Demonetisation: No action against PM Modi’s ‘industrialist friends’, says Rahul Gandhi

"Those who are real black marketeers, those who have Rs 10-20000 crore, those who go with Modi in planes, action should be taken against them. No action is being taken," he said.

Sharpening his attack on Narendra Modi over demonetisation, Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday charged that no action was being taken against the “real black marketeers” and the “industrialist friends” of the Prime Minister. “Those who are real black marketeers, those who have Rs 10-20000 crore, those who go with Modi in planes, action should be taken against them. No action is being taken,” he said.

“There is no investigation or action taken against Modiji’s industrialist friends,” Rahul told reporters outside the Bhiwandi court in adjoining Thane district, after being granted bail in a defamation case. You are being made to stand in queues. Your money will be given to those select 15-20 industrialists. You all know their names. He (Modi) is running their government,” the Congress leader alleged.

Earlier, addressing Congress supporters who gathered outside the court, Rahul said long queues before banks and ATMs had caused problems for the common man.

“The masses are standing in a queue. Do you see any rich person, a big industrialist standing in queue,” Rahul sought to know.

“Did you get Rs 4000 notes? Did you get indelible ink mark on your hands,” he said. Maharashtra PCC president Ashok Chavan, in his address to the supporters, said people of Maharashtra are with Rahul and Sonia Gandhi in the struggle against BJP government’s anti-people policies.

In a stinging attack on Modi on the demonetisation issue, Rahul had last night said the prime minister was “laughing” while people were dying in queues outside banks and ATMs to withdraw money and the move will turn out to be a “big scam”.

The government did not seem to be going after the “big players” in black money like Vijay Mallya and Lalit Modi, he had said. He also claimed that BJP members were alerted beforehand about the demonetisation.

Rahul must explain to the people of India ; which industrialist is not product of Congress party? All so called industrialist friends of P.M had remained darling of Congress Party and are even today darling . All industrialists including Tatas, Birlas, Ambanis, Adanis and many others grew and flourished during regime of Congress Party . All congress Party Prime Ministers namely Jawahar Lal Nehru, Indira hi, Rajiv hi, P,V Narisinghrao, and Man mohan Singh Protected these Indurialists and their interests very well. No doubt other non congress Prime Ministers were also party to it., Why blame present P.M only that too without citing a single example of complicity.

PM and his other Ministers are seen laughing ,because after being voted to power by poor and ordinary people ,they are successful in achieving their agenda of helping their industrialist ,rich and poweful friends to make them more rich with the hard earned money of common people .They are laughing at the foolishness of common people in the Country ,who believes in the promises of politicians and the suffers at their hand later ,as is happening now and it is being claimed that ,the same work for which the govt. is voted to power is being done for the people.

As a common man, I'm feeling too good seeing pain and unease to these corrupt politicians. We are ready to stand in ATM queues for months if this kind of Government's steps give sleepless nights to these corrupt parties.

It is time that RG must look into the historical misdeeds of congressmen at various times before commenting on a bold move for a change initiated by the government which may bring in something good for the people of india.
